- This happened in our flat 3 days ago

And it IS a different kitchen background to the last one (slightly)

The sonic characters here symbolise the 2 flatmates involved very well. What made the other guys comment worse is the fact he was living there last year as well! The last comment was a bit cruel, but the height difference between the guys and girls is big. The girls are fairly short (the one involved here is the smallest in the flat), whereas Im fairly tall (6 foot 1) but the other guy is at least 6 foot 5...

This also gives rise to the poor joke "how many students does it take to change a light bulb?"

Lol, not as bad as when you, me and 2 more of us playing Doom and the whole flat went...and then we broke the fusebox cover off the door, leaving quite a dent in it...

Its where there are several switches to each part of a building (say a house there will be one for bathroom lights, kitchen etc) which are fuses and (I think) if there is a surge in the power supply they will flick, turning off the power to that area. To fix it, you just flick it back. You can also turn off power to the whole place with a master switch

I'm no electrician, so if anyone has a better description (or if I am wrong altogether) please say

Its one of those things that your not fully sure on what it does, but you (almost instinctively) know how to use it...
